Service terms

These terms apply to services provided by TED5 (ABN 39 926 306 766). Each engagement is also governed by the written scope and quote you accept. If the two differ, the accepted scope and quote apply to that engagement.
1. How an engagement starts
Information on this website describes our services in general terms. It isn't an offer to supply. An engagement starts only when you accept a written scope and quote from us. The scope sets out what's included, what isn't, the access we need, the price and the payment arrangements.
2. Prices and GST
Prices are in Australian dollars. No GST is charged on our fees. Third-party costs — such as platform subscriptions, paid themes or apps, domains, hosting, API usage, supplier products and postage, and advertising — are not included and are paid by you directly to those providers unless your scope says otherwise.
3. Supervised, AI-assisted work
We use AI tools to help deliver our services. A person reviews the work. Our services are supervised: they do not include autonomous operation of your accounts, automatic payments to suppliers, advertising spend, or 24/7 hosting or monitoring unless your accepted scope expressly says so.
4. Your accounts and access
- You keep ownership and control of your accounts, store, content and data.
- When a service needs access, you grant it through the platform's own staff, collaborator or permission features, limited to what the scope requires. Please never send us passwords, API keys or payment details.
- You can change or remove our access at any time. If removing access stops us completing the agreed work, we'll tell you what remains.
- We act only within the access and approvals you give us.
5. What you provide
You're responsible for providing accurate information, timely approvals, and content (including product details, images and customer-facing terms) that you have the right to use. You approve the customer-facing terms and policies used on your store or website; we don't provide legal advice.
6. Revisions and support
Revisions and any support period are as set out in the service description and your accepted scope. Work outside the scope can be quoted separately, and we'll confirm it in writing before starting.
7. No guaranteed results
We don't guarantee sales, revenue, traffic, rankings or other business results. Results depend on many factors outside our control.
8. Third-party platforms
Our services may involve third-party ecommerce platforms, dropshipping suppliers and other service providers. Those platforms are provided by their owners under their own terms, and their availability, features and fees can change. TED5 is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
9. Your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms or in any scope excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Cancellation and payment
Payment timing and any cancellation arrangements are set out in your accepted scope and quote, subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
